Window bait station visitor
Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, USA
This fruit fly (just a guess!) was among the first to sample the wares. The crumpled paper towel is to permit access to the treat without taking a swim. Also, I think the increased surface area acts as an air wick, more effectively advertising that the station is open for business.
