Very Large Bug Found in Spagnum Bog, West Virginia - Belostoma

Very Large Bug Found in Spagnum Bog, West Virginia - Belostoma
Dolly Sods Wilderness, West Virginia, USA
September 6, 2003
Found this very large bug resting on sphagnum moss. Nearby were several ponds. I did attempt some book work on this but just couldn't seem to find any matches.

Looks like one of the Belosto
Looks like one of the Belostoma species to me (Giant Water Bugs, Family Belostomatidae, Hemiptera).
