Margined blister beetle? - Epicauta funebris
Northern, Virginia, USA

Possible Epicauta pestifera in a soybean field. There are a couple good images at

http://www.insectimages.org/browse/detail.cfm?imgnum=1235110
http://www.insectimages.org/images/768x512/3413053.jpg

And one on a page about soybean pests at

http://ipm.ncsu.edu/soybeans/insects/insects_soybeans.html

Any thoughts?

Thanks,
John
