Agreed... THOUGH... I am PRETTY sure about it. All of the features point to it being D. brevis.

A minor male Dorcus brevis. W
A minor male Dorcus brevis. Will someone please confirm that this is D. brevis and not Parallelus? The points on the elytra are present and the mandible structure for a minor male doesn't match D. parallelus. I assume it is D. brevis and most who have seen this beetle agree. Just want more opinions on it.
