Insect on Gaura - Jalysus
Lake Thunderbird State Park, Cleveland County, Oklahoma, USA

Size: Approximately 1 cm
This insect seems to occur on gaura at any time during the day, sometimes in large numbers. The legs and antennae are very long and stick-like. It also has long, thin wings, but does not appear to fly often.
