Leaf-footed bug - Leptoglossus zonatus

Leaf-footed bug - Leptoglossus zonatus
Gainesville, Alachua County, Florida, USA
November 13, 2005
I just came across this in a bunch of pictures from last year. First FL report was in 2005 for this species - my guess is they've been around a while longer, if they are showing up in my back yard. The pale spots on the forward part of the pronotum and the "leaves" on the hind legs match the pictures from UF we have linked to the guide page. I believe this was on the seedpod of my Kenaf Hibiscus.

I wonder . . .
whether old record of L.balteatus are referrable to this species?
