Moved tent.
There are a couple similar species out West; if and when I get the specimen i can confirm. In Old World literature, Hadromorphus is regarded as a sub-genus of Selatosomus. I believe, for now, Paul Johnson is keeping it as a valid genus (he is cleaning up the NA Prosternini).

Moved from Prosternini.

confirmed Hadromorphus
This is either H. callidus or H. inutilis. Will need to dissect (at a later date) to determine which. Both have been recorded from northern CA.

Moved from Click Beetles.

Selatosomus or close kin; i'll leave it to Blaine
there are tons of montane Selatosomus spp. in Eurasia -- mostly flightless (this one looks like a flier, though)

yeah....
Prosternini is as far as I can take it for now, but I will snoop around some more.
