Neat!
Nice find! Was it attracted to the light on the beach? I wish I could get one of these sometime. My objective this summer was to get Omophron and Elaphrus. I've got plenty of Elaphrus ruscarius so far, but no Omophron.

Thanks Matthew,
I'm ~40 miles from the beach, although much of my area of south jersey has sandy soil (my immediate area is more like clay). And the nearest flowing stream is 0.5 miles from me. So this guy (and a sibbling) just flew to my light trap. I've trapped a few previous times and been here for 4 years now, but this is first one of these I've ever seen. But then, I've never seen a Elaphrus either, so you'll have to show me where to find them sometime:)

Thanks!
Maybe we could meet sometime and go collecting. I just went looking for Elaphrus yesterday and didn't find any. I think its too late in the season for them.
