Soldier or Queen? - Danaus gilippus

Soldier or Queen? - Danaus gilippus
Edinburg, Texas, USA
October 25, 2011
Is this a Soldier or a Queen? I have looked at the BugGuide description of the Soldier and at some of the photos that are identified as Soldiers but I am having trouble seeing some of the field marks that Soldiers are supposed to have. What should I be looking for?

Queen (Danaus gilippus)
This is a Queen. Look at the number of spots on the wing, the Queen has an extra three spots all in a line on the wing. Also, Queen's are far more common in the states than Soldier (which is rare to uncommon at best).
