Striped Beetle - Disonycha
San Manuel, Pinal County, Arizona, USA
August 1, 2011
Size: approx 12 - 14 mm
in leaves of bushes near temporary puddles after rains, Sonoran Desert area, elev 3300 feet; looks roughly similar to a three-lined Potato Beetle, but the elytra are different.

Moved from ID Request.

Thank you! It looks a lot like a Pigweed Flea Beetle (Disonycha glabrata)

If anyone could tell me how to paste a link to a photo I'd appreciate it - my old tricks don't work and my "help" menu doesn't either. I love new systems.
