Chrysotus simulans Van Duzee, 1924 (note that the type specimen was headless and the shiny palps are not mentioned; also the key by Robinson(1) says the fourth segment of the fore tarsus is black)

Femora pale, fore tarsi of male ornamented, fore tibia with black ring.

Known from Virginia and Florida(2)
