Mycotrupes cartwrighti from Tall Timbers - Mycotrupes cartwrighti - Male
Tall Timbers Research Station, Leon County, Florida, USA

This specimen was caught in a dung-baited pitfall trap a couple of weeks ago in red oak woods habitat. I love this genus.

I have a specimen of this somewhere if I didn't donate it. If I can't find it, I think that we both know a couple people we can pester to get specimen images.

superb work.........
incomplete appendage set, though

thanks
