This is the ventral view of the mounted specimen taken with a higher resolution objective, but cropped to show only the head. It shows tusk-like spikes and central sharper clear spike between them better than the other high resolution ventral view.

This image is from a CombineZP processed stack of 200 images with a 1.8 micron step taken with a Nikon BD Plan 20X 0.4NA microscope objective + Nikon D300 camera.
