We're posting a second shot that shows more of the face. Unfortunately, a leaf is covering the end of the heavy white slant line, but you can see it crosses over toward the abdominal proleg in Stephen's image

We're hoping the allows Ryan to confirm his ID of Pachysphinx modesta.

We moved them. Any chance you would want to tackle the pages of caterpillars posted to Sphingidae here? We would be happy to help in whatever way we could be useful. You could just leave comments and we would track your messages, or you could send us an email with image numbers and your thoughts of where the images should go. Whatever works best for you.

Yes, modesta
I still think this is Pachysphinx modesta. The purplish patch between the bars on the "face" is also a characteristic I've seen in images of this species.
