It has a strong pattern

If he had shed his skin one more time,
I could be positive from the shape of the end of his abdomen, but at this age it's not quite fully developed yet. Even so, I'm pretty sure.

Moved from Short-horned Grasshoppers.

hard to be 100% certain of which species, but he's almost certainly a Red-legged Grasshopper - Melanoplus femurrubrum.
