Pentagonica? - Pentagonica picticornis

Pentagonica? - Pentagonica picticornis
Chamblee, DeKalb County, Georgia, USA
May 21, 2010
Unfortunately, the only image I have of this animal.

Moved
Moved from Pentagonica. Thanks Peter. I had excluded that species, but only based on its absence in the SE in Bousquet & Larochelle.

Pentagonica picticornis
is satisfied by the distinct coloration of parts shown in this image. I don't believe this eastern species was previously reported from GA - at least not in Bousquet & Larochelle (1993). I will forward this page to range compiler Yves Bousquet for his catalogue revision. Very nice!

Very interesting.
Thank you very much. I shall be on the lookout for this animal come Spring, or sooner.

Moved
Moved from Pentagonicini. Maybe P. flavipes var. bicolor. Will have to see what Peter thinks.

That was fast!
Thank you.
