Gyrinus analis (Say)
Based on examination of specimen and dissected aedeagus. A new species for the guide!

Correct
A male: note dilated protarsi; needs dissection to get further. You can send it to me for species ID if you're interested- I am photovouchering the aquatic beetles for the guide.
