Firefly -- Lucidota Species? - Lucidota atra

Firefly -- Lucidota Species? - Lucidota atra
Buzzard Swamp, Forest County, Pennsylvania, USA
June 11, 2011
Just working my way through "firefly beetles" and haven't yet found a match on BugGuide. Possibly I missed it, but it seems to me like Lucidota?

Moved Tentatively
Moved from ID Request.

Appears to be a melanistic form of L. atra. Nice image.

Thanks Blaine
I'd initially thought perhaps atra but the thorax colors were off. I didn't know that beetles, like butterflies, can have melanistic forms as well. Thanks!
