Size: Forewing length 18mm
New species for BG!
ID provided by BOLD Systems; DNA sequence for this specimen is a 99.85% match with species Protogygia milleri.

I have photographed this attractive noctuid moth at least three times. They have each varied slightly in appearance.
My thanks for a new Guide Page. I believe this moth represents a new genus also for BG.

Very nice addition to Bug Guide!
Moved from Cutworm or Dart Moths.

Now Bug Guide only needs 15 more species for the genus.
