Twice-stabbed Lady Beetle - Chilocorus stigma - Chilocorus stigma

Twice-stabbed Lady Beetle - Chilocorus stigma - Chilocorus stigma
Miami County, Florida, USA
July 1, 2006
Size: 4.5mm L x 4 mm W
Found dozens of larvae, pupae and adults on a scale covered bamboo.

Wow!
Neat image. Now I know what the larvae look like (I guess...).

Pupae, too!
The ones with the split down the back are the pupae encased in the last larval skin.
