Arrow-Shaped Micrathena - Micrathena sagittata - female

Arrow-Shaped Micrathena - Micrathena sagittata - Female
South Yarmouth, Cape Cod, Massachusetts, USA
August 21, 2004
After seeing a Spined Micrathena for the first time ever in my backyard, I became facinated with it. Then, just two days later I discovered this Micrathena at my mother-in-law's home on Cape Cod. After checking the guide I determined that it was an Arrow-Shaped Micrathena. It's such an amazing little creature...

.
Ya, that is a nice shot!

Also Female
Good detail in this shot! This is also a female according to Kaston (1).
