leaf mine on Cherry - Parornix
Cross Plains, Dane County, Wisconsin, USA
October 15, 2011
Host plant is black cherry, Prunus serotina, I believe. This was a very small sapling with just a few leaves.

I suspect this is a Parornix, but in any case, it's some kind of gracillariid.
