I think it is a longhorn beetle f some sort, but i can't seem to find it listed anywhere on the internet. I mostly see them in the evening.

That is a Eucalyptus longhorn
That is a Eucalyptus longhorn, Phoracantha semipunctata.

Two introduced spp. (from Australia) are here now;
Phoracantha recurva Newman and P. semipunctata (Fabricius) - I'm guessing recurva.
