Size
Size: Male length: 10.8 mm
Female length: 12 mm (Usinger, 1946)
Identification
Usinger (1946) states: "This species is quite distinct from any species known to me."
Color pattern distinct, the coria each with a conspicuous anteriorly divergent vitta from middle of anterior margin. (Usinger, 1946)
In the series of paratypes, the Ft. Stockton series in particular is very much paler than the others. In some cases a submarginal pale area extends posteriorly from the apical margin of the embolium, adding to the distinctive coloration of this species. Also the brown discal spot of scutellum may be divided longitudinally at middle. (Usinger, 1946)

Perhaps closest related to mormon Montd. with the same narrow pronotum but differs greatly from this species in color and other characters. (Usinger, 1946)
