Wasp to ID - Vespula consobrina - Male

Would appreciate any info on this wasp or whatever. Its the usual wasp size but didn't post earlier as I thought it was the bald faced wasp but now i think different.

"Blackjacket"
This is a male "blackjacket," Vespula consobrina. Their colonies are small, and they are strictly predatory (not scavengers as many other yellow jackets have become). Neat insects:-)
