Size: ~.75 inch (~18-19mm) long
These insects were on the walls in the privy at the conservation area. They were quite large and almost mistook them as "Texas" mosquitoes.

this got my attention
i wouldnt of thought it was a mosquito, but when i saw it was moved i took a look..i knew males feed on nectar etc..not us..and i found this..which looks alot like yours..

Way cool! Thanks! I was thinking it was a midge or something like that. I never knew what male mosquitoes . . . until now.
