Ectopsocus nymph - Ectopsocus briggsi

Ectopsocus nymph - Ectopsocus briggsi
Long Beach, Los Angeles County, California, USA
February 16, 2012
Size: ~2mm
I've seen adult E. briggsi & E. californicus in the area but don't know how to tell apart the nymphs. Based on guide photos I'd guess californicus due to the spots on the abdomen, but don't know if this is a reliable character.

Ectopsocus briggsi nymph --det. E.L. Mockford
