Large-Spotted Epicallima Moth - Epicallima

Size: 1cm
It took me forever to ID this tiny moth I first found last night on our wall, then again today on one of our sunflowers. After much searching on this site, I finally found it. It turns out that this species was not identified by Hodges until samples were sent to him in 2004, when other unidentified samples were found to also exist.

The notes found on this entry offer a lot of good information about this moth.
