Lygus? Nope, Shore Bug. - Saldula

Lygus? Nope, Shore Bug. - Saldula
Santiago Oaks Park, Orange, Orange County, California, USA
July 6, 2006
Size: ~4mm
Little guy was strolling along a concrete retaining wall along a creekside pool. He peeked over the edge, saw a fly, and hurried back atop the sunny wall. No foliage was within thirty feet. Looks like a plant bug, but seems like a funny place for one.
