This hotel was just coated with moths.

Moved
to genus page for now.

Habrosyne scripta
The main thing you have to look at to separate the two species is the white line in the middle of the wings. Habrosyne gloriosa has a right angle in the middle of this line. Your moth doesn't have it. So it must be Habrosyne scripta. Beside that, H. gloriosa usually have some pink mixed with the white.

Habrosyne gloriosa
I would say this is a Habrosyne gloriosa because of the distinct orbicular spots on the forewings. From the photos I have of H. scripta and H. gloriosa, it appears that only the H. gloriosa has those spots. I certainly don't claim to be an expert, but the H. gloriosa I just posted was identified from the actual specimen by an expert in '99.

or
it looks like it could either be that or Habrosyne gloriosa

Thanks
How would I separate the two?

consult the experts, I guess.
