That is absolutely precious! I've never seen an immature Phymata before!

 
I'm suprised.
If you can find the adults where your at you should be able to find the juveniles just as easily. They have the same habits as the adults. There were a ton of them up in MN,ND,and WI where I lived so it was pretty easy to see the different stages, sexes, and color variants.
Well, Glad you like the photos! You've got some pretty nice photos too. I especially like the Anotia uhleri you photographed. It's very colorful.

A lot of it just comes down to chance for me: Chance encountering the insects and chance of getting a good shot within the photos I take. i can't tell you how many pictures I've taken that just aren't worth a bean!
