May Beetle? - Phyllophaga

May Beetle? - Phyllophaga
Richardson, Collin County, Texas, USA
March 28, 2012
Is this a Phyllophaga? Any idea which species? The pronotum is not hairy, but the underside is very hairy. Each antenna is slightly longer then the length of the 3 end segments. It was injured or old and would roll onto its back. Found it in the garage around noon.

Phyllophaga yes
but would probably need examination of male genitilia for a species-level ID.

Thank you
Thanks for confirming the genus. Maybe I will learn how to dissect a beetle.
