Red Cuckoo Bee? Coelioxys slossoni - Coelioxys slossoni

Size: 2cm
These tiny wild flowers were a magnet for all sorts of bees and wasps. Very excited to see this, as have never seen a Coelioxys sp in the UK. Wondered if it could be C. slossoni? Can anyone say if it is a male or female?
