Cockroach - Parcoblatta

Cockroach - Parcoblatta
Cheverly, Prince George's County, Maryland, USA
June 22, 2006
Is this the American Cockroach? I've heard of the name 'Wood Cockroach' used before. Would that be valid here?

Wood Roach.
This is probably a male wood roach in the genus Parcoblatta. Impossible to ID further without the specimen. Female Parcoblatta are wingless.
