Eight-spotted Forester Moth - Alypia octomaculata

I spent a delightful afternoon with this lovely moth! I saw its shadow flitting along beside me before I turned and saw the critter. It patiently rested on a variety of plants so that I could get images from several angles. It seemed to enjoy the photo session as much as I:)
Can someone tell me its gender, please?
