Identification
Males can be separated from females by the presence of phanerae (apically widened setae) ventrally on at least the protarsomeres(1)
Range
NA west of the Mississippi River (from the Ozarks and e. TX to so. CA and through CO-ID to c. AK; absent in most of glaciated w. NA); one sp. in MO-AR-e.TX, 22 spp. in CA (two of which also in OR), one in CO, 4 spp. in ID(1)
