This may be the same species as one I found at the Don Edwards San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge ... Nemognatha lurida. That was the only species that looked like mine (and yours) in the Essig collection that was collected in our area. I had a meloid expert confirm the species id though because there are lots of Nemognatha that look similar in CA (and the U.S.).
