found under incandescent light, actually it was inside a shaded bucket on my front porch which made focusing problematic ... the image is not crisp, but descriptive enough ... any ideas who this beauty is?

Answered my own question ... it's a Maple Looper Moth- Parallelia bistriaris. 8-)
