Spider Wasp - Episyron quinquenotatus - female

Spider Wasp - Episyron quinquenotatus - Female
Essex, Ontario, Canada
July 10, 2006
Size: 12 mm
See the smaller wasp in the lower left-hand corner. This little wasp (about 7 mm) is always present right from the time she drops the spider to dig her nest (every time for the last 2 years). Flying back and forth, sometimes landing just for a few seconds and flicking its wings. I have not been able to photograph it until now.
