Found after rain mid morning near water - Thasus acutangulus
Tucson County, Arizona, USA
Located in Rincon Mt. east of tucson at 3300 ft elevation. Cattle and farm land with stream. many red velvet mites in the area as well

Giant Mesquite Bug.
Very nice image of a late instar nymph ('teenager') of the giant mesquite bug. I apologize that the scientific name has escaped me at the moment. The family is Coreidae, and we have additional images of them in the guide that you might wish to check out.
