Ants and aphids - Crematogaster atkinsoni

Ants and aphids - Crematogaster atkinsoni
Tallahassee, Leon County, Florida, USA
April 22, 2012
Size: ants 2-3 mm
7 pm in my yard. Does the heart-shaped gaster suggest that the ants are a Crematogaster species? I am intrigued by the striped wings which seem to belong to the brownish aphids. Could this allow an ID? I found a few photos of aphids with striped wings but the stripes were always less bold.

Thank you, Eric!
Is there a chance to ID the aphids? Are there special acrobat ant/aphid couples?
