Round-bodied spider with cross - Neoscona domiciliorum

Round-bodied spider with cross - Neoscona domiciliorum
Allentown, Pennsylvania, USA
August 21, 2004
Found this one while gathering seeds of a tall perennial - it actually clambered down along my arm into my gathering bucket, which I must admit freaked me out a bit. Not huge, but larger than most spiders around my garden - maybe 1/2".

Moved
Moved from Spotted Orbweavers.

Moved
Moved from Neoscona utahana. utahana is basically a Texas and environs spider, so we will move this temporarily back to genus as we read more.
