The lack of visible markings
suggests this is a Dun Skipper, Euphyes vestris.

 
Probably not
Facial color and head color off for a Dun. Size matters in Florida on the unmarked skippers. If this was a big skipper (comparatively speaking) this is likely a Monk.

 
Wing color
I thought Monks were reddish-brown below. Are they ever this dark? Looks like the Duns that I see in NJ (for what it's worth).
