You'd have to ask Georges Pelletier about that :)
We corresponded a couple of times while he was compiling The Cantharadie of Eastern Canada and Northeastern United States, but those messages seem to have disappeared, along with his email address. Perhaps you can track him down online.

Thanks for the information. I will see if I can find an email or another Cantharid expert. Many experts, I've noticed, burn out on citizen science consults. I imagine it is just the time commitment.
