This image confirms that it is a female. That plus the very long flagellum and the rather lenticular head with a pale orbit has me puzzled for now.

 
It is the first one of this type that I've come across
...so far. I thought the white just above the stigma was a little unusual, but then I haven seen enough species to know if is or not....dead battery...till next time, thanks!
