Dicerca obscura (Fabricius) - Dicerca obscura - Male

Size: 19 mm
This species averages 13-20mm long. This is a male from a mating pair that was collected on persimmon, which is a larval host. The male and female are almost identical, males have a last abdominal sternite that is bidentate and the females are tridentate.
