Sunny trail in deciduous bottomland forest. Identification presumed for lack of anything better to call it.

You're going to love (hate) this
Chortophaga viridifasciata. Not sure why, but it's one of the most photographed species of Band-wing.

It may still be a bit early for the adult Arphia simplex? Arphia simplex will be considerably larger, and a great way to find it is to stop at truck stops in early June; they have a thing about bright lights. I have never found Chortophaga at lights - yet.
