Neopristilophus maurus
I recently received some material from Arizona that included this species; my specimen keyed nicely to N. maurus.

Antennomere III here looks a bit small but I am thinking that is the odd angle.

The type can be seen here.

Neopristilophus...
I'm thinking this must be a Neo. The shape, color, antennomeres, and canaliculated pronotum are c/w.

They elaterid fauna (namely the Prosternini) of the southwest hasn't been well worked on yet (it's next on my list after the SE :).

The forests in east-central AZ have Rocky Mountain elements in their insect faunas; this could be N. cribrosus but not sure.

Move to Genus?
Should this be moved to genus? If not, should I place in Prosterninae or Prosternini?
