Flower Longhorn - Brachyleptura rubrica
Harms Woods Forest Preserves, Glenview, Cook County, Illinois, USA
July 13, 2006
Size: ~12mm
We went to Harms yesterday to see if Cicuta was blooming. It was and there was a wild array of pollinators and nectaring species -- flies, wasps, bees, beetles.... We photographed what we think might be six different species of Cerambycids. We're thinking this might be Brachyleptura rubrica.
