Hypselistes-like?
I don't think I've seen one with all black legs. Neat find.

What's the approximate size?

 
Maybe 5 to 7 mm?
I'm afraid I don't recall exactly, and the spider didn't stick around.

I'm leaning toward something in the genus Hypsosinga.

Do you remember what kind of web it had? Sheet web? Orb web?

 
Not an orb web.
I only saw a few disorganized strands of silk, nothing with any definite structure. It's possible that the old web was destroyed and the spider had only begun constructing a new one.
